I went to De Wallen expecting to find a system that protects women. I found an industry where pimps hold most of the power and trafficking runs through it largely unchallenged.

This is the full film. It brings together the people I spent months talking to: sex workers Jesslin and Chiela Rosa; Renate van der Zee, who has investigated the trade for over a decade; Frits Rouvoet of Bright Fame; and Elise Lente of El Roi.

Between them they describe something very different from the enlightened, regulated experiment Amsterdam sells to visitors. If you only watch one thing from this series, watch this.
